Quechan - Kwatsan
“I see a future filled with powerful Native women occupying spaces we have been excluded from. I am honored to be a part of the First Wave of our women who will shake the investment world. REA has shone the light that we rightfully deserve. My journey with REA has been one of healing and growth within my power.”
I am from the Fort Yuma Quechan Tribe in Western Arizona/Southern California. I am a sister and auntie to many. I obtained my bachelor's degree from Louisiana State University with a focus in Marketing. I am an advocate for higher education, and I believe in setting healthy examples for the generations after me. I have been fortunate enough to hold space within many communities which have contributed to my blended background. It has always been a personal goal of mine to help my people in any way possible. I believe in empowering Native people. I believe in showing up for each other and walking in our power.
